KG Weddings & Events was created in 2000 for event planning in the Houston/Galveston areas, now expanding internationally. While we plan all kinds of events, our specialty is wedding coordination. About Kathy Rea

Kathy Rea, owner of KG Weddings & Events is a Houston native. Kathy created KG Weddings & Events in 2000, a full service event planning firm. Kathy is also co-owner of The Boutique Bridal Show of Galveston Island held twice a year in Galveston.

 

Kathy graduated from Stratford High School followed by Texas Tech University where she received a degree in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management and was an active member in Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Kathy began her career as a Catering Manager/Director of Meetings working for a hotel in Downtown Houston gaining knowledge of both corporate meetings and social events. She was a Catering Manager for Weddings at the Hotel Galvez in Galveston for five years. Since then, she has continued coordinating weddings, exquisite events and consulting. Kathy is an active member of The Junior League of Galveston County, Inc., Clear Lake Panhellenic Association and Friendswood Chamber of Commerce along with other community groups.

 

When you first meet Kathy, she will instantly put you at ease with per professionalism and a smile on her face. Kathy is continuously sought after for her event expertise and attention to detail in addition has been asked to chair numerous non-profit events. Kathy’s poise and dedication to excellence allows the client to focus on spending time with friends and family while she ensures that every detail of your event is executed perfectly. About Brandi Crone

Brandi Crone, a native of the Houston area, joined KG Weddings in 2008. With over a decade of experience organizing memorable and unique events, Brandi has a passion for hospitality and service. Her warm and enthusiastic personality, along with flawless precision and attention to detail, has helped contribute to her success and client satisfaction.

 

Brandi earned a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Texas Tech University and was an active member in Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Upon graduation she began her career at The St. Regis Hotel Houston. This is where she found her love for coordinating events, working with brides as well as corporate event planners. After nearly five years in the hospitality industry, Brandi continued her career with Four Seasons Hotels both in Houston and Dallas. At Four Seasons, she continued working on events while learning all aspects of the hotel environment. The opportunity to work in corporate event planning brought Brandi back to Houston from Dallas.

 

Her work ethic embodies personalized service, elegance and fun, while creating stunning occasions and unforgettable memories for her clients.
